RBI has announced two more premature redemption prices for Sovereign Gold Bonds. Series VII of 2021-22, issued on 2 November 2021, can be redeemed early on 2 November 2026 at ₹14,167 per unit. Series I of 2020-21, issued on 28 April 2020, could be redeemed early on 28 October 2026 at ₹14,159 per unit.

The price is the simple average of the closing price of 999-purity gold published by the India Bullion and Jewellers Association for the three business days before the redemption date. Each tranche's own scheme notification sets the early-redemption window.
